Westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike was closed with traffic diverted at SH-66 in Wellston for more than 90 minutes Tuesday, May 31, 2022, because of a crash blocking the turnpike. ACCESS Oklahoma includes plans to widen the Turner Turnpike to six lanes between Oklahoma City and Kellyville and construct five additional interchanges.
