Patsy Ann Woodall left this world on Saturday July 16, 2022. Patsy was born to Velma Patton and John Henry Patton on March 18th, 1933, in Maud Oklahoma. She was the fifth of six sisters Opal, John Dell, Bonnie, Dorothy, & Shug. Patsy married Don (Papa) Woodall on January 2, 1950. For 72 years they raised a family and went on many adventures until their hearts were content. They were blessed with a daughter Nancy Jane Woodall in 1951 and a son Donald Brian Woodall in 1955.
Pat retired from Shawnee Public Schools after 22 years. She managed the cafeterias at Sequoyah and Will Rogers Elementary. She loved every second with the school kids, especially her grandson Colton whom she was able to see every day.
Pat’s life was her family. She loved to fish, water ski, and travel. It was very common for Pat & Don to drive through various states on a cross country style summer vacation in a sparkling red Cadillac. Fishing was a lifetime hobby for Pat. She and her family have spent many summer days and nights enjoying the lakes, especially Heyburn & Eufaula. She enjoyed being on the water and was outstanding on the skis. Pat loved the holidays and hosted so many large family gatherings at her home. Anytime she could, Pat would be on the front porch visiting with neighbors and enjoying her coffee. She was truly everyone’s “Nannie”.
Pat is preceded in death by her daughter Nancy Jane Woodall, her parents, grandparents, and three of her sisters. We all know her daughter Nancy was there to welcome her mother in Heaven with open arms. What a joyous reunion they are having.
Pat is survived by her husband of over 72 years Don Woodall, and her sisters Dot & Bonnie. Pat’s son Brian Woodall and his wife Keta. Pat also has 7 grandchildren. Michael Woodall and his wife Pam Derouen. Vicki Lyn Ayers and her Husband Mike. Brian Woodall, Gary Woodall, and his wife Terica.
