Leavetta Carol Reeves was born on October 7th, 1956 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Denver and Inas McCray.

She was called home by her Lord and Savior on August 7th, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 65. On June 30th, 1977 Leavetta married her forever sweetheart of 45 years Donald Dewayne Reeves. Together the couple had 4 wonderful children, 12, grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Leavetta was preceded in death by her daughter Alisha Anderson – Reeves; her father and mother Denver and Inas McCray; brother Odis McCray and sister Delores McElfresh. She is survived by her husband Don Reeves; daughter Amy Watkins; son and daughter-in-law DJ and Shelly Reeves; daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Brian Hauk; 6 granddaughters, Destiny Lemons, Brooklyn Lane, Lailah Watkins, Briley Hauk, Alisha (Ali) Reeves and Jesslyn Reeves; 6 grandsons; Memphis Anderson, Maddox Anderson, Jackson Lane, Rayden Watkins, Neo Anderson and McCray Reeves; 2 great-grandsons, Scout Lemons and Bowyn Anderson; 3 bonus grandchildren, Anthony Lemons, Clayton Perceful and Ellie Tippy; 2 sisters, Bertha Anderson and Donna Davis and husband Alden; 1 brother Gary McCray and wife Joy; and 1 brother-inlaw Jackie McElfresh. She was also survived and loved by many nieces & nephews & family. Funeral Services will be 2pm Monday, August 15th, 2022, at Sharon Baptist Church in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Interment will immediately follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, August 13th, 2022, from 4pm – 8pm and Sunday, August 14th, 2022, from 1pm-5pm.
