She later married Carl Edward Satterfield, Sr. on September 12, 1961 in Macomb, Oklahoma. She flew to North Carolina and took care of her sisters Gerri and Maxine, then bringing Maxine back home to live with her in Macomb. After a devastating house fire that took the life of her sister Maxine, Jane moved to Denver, Colorado to live with her son Steve in 2012. She became very active in her church in Northglenn, Colorado, helping wherever she was needed including Acts of Kindness, Vacation Bible School and many other places. Jane’s love was for others to know her Sweet Jesus and she prayed for hours for her friends and family.
