Russell Carl Cobb, Jr. was born September 9th, 1957 at Mercy Hospital to Mary Jane Townsend and Russell Carl Cobb, Sr. Russell went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 24th, 2022.

A memorial service to celebrate the amazing man he was will be held Thursday, September 29th, at 2:00 PM at Brown’s Family Funeral Home in McLoud, OK.

Russell Graduated from McLoud High School in 1976. On February 15th, 1985, Russell married the love of his life, Kathy Ann Morgan, and together, raised 6 children; Joshua, James, Laura, Russell lll, Jacob and Jesse.

Russell was an extremely hard working man, and to many, was known as the jack-of-all-trades. He never hesitated to help someone in need, whether it be family or a stranger he just met. One of his passions was “collecting” and “junking”. He always found a use for everything, and if you needed it, he had it.

His many grandchildren were his pride and joy. He enjoyed visiting and getting together with family and poking fun at us. Everybody that knew him, knew that there was a lot of love behind his jokes. He was a true hero to many and respected by everyone. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Russell was preceded in death by his Mother, Mary Jane Townsend; His father, Russell Cobb senior; and sister’s, Ladonna and Deborah Ann.

Russell is survived by his wife of the home, Kathy; One brother, Mike Booth and wife Karen; His children: Joshua Graham and wife Sarah; James Graham and wife Elizabeth; Laura Strong and husband Kris; Russell Cobb lll; Jacob Cobb and wife Ashely; Jessie Cobb and wife Jenny; His grandchildren: Timothy, Karson, Lily and husband Eli, Katrina, Abigail and husband Reid, Abby, Andy, Gavin, Brianna, R.C. lV, Aeyden, Adyson, Aaliyah, Aubrey, Addison, Elijah, Bryan, Jacob junior, Jamie, and Ramona; and many, many In-laws.
