“We hope this special ceremony will offer comfort to the families we’ve served. We want them to know we continue to care about the loved ones they’ve lost this year, as well as the grief they’ve encountered,” said J Cooper. “Getting through the holiday season is difficult for those suffering grief. The Tree stands with the Candle of Love, celebrating each of the lives and paying tribute to these friends and neighbors who died this year. A special Scroll of Honor lists their names in chronological order beginning December 1, 2023, through November 30, 2024. The name of each deceased loved one will be engraved on a beautiful snowflake ornament. At the conclusion of the program, the ornaments will be presented to the families the funeral home has served during the past year.
