It’s Memorial Day weekend, so that means Shawnee Splash Water Park is now open.
Opening day was Friday at the park in downtown Shawnee. The summer destination is designed with families in mind as the park features a shallow play area and spray ground for younger children, along with a regulation pool and diving area for older kids and teens. The park includes a climbing wall, water slides, and basketball goal.
