McAlester, OKLA. – Inmate Lewis was apprehended at approx. 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3.

McAlester, OKLA. – James Lewis (ODOC #900335), an inmate at Jackie Brannon Correctional Center in McAlester, Okla., unlawfully walked away at approximately 8:49 p.m. on Dec. 2, 2024. 

Inmate Lewis, 33, is a White male serving a 10-year sentence for Manslaughter First Degree out of Pottawatomie County, a 10-year sentence for Person Injury Accident While DUI out of Pottawatomie County, and a 7-year sentence for Burglary – Second Degree out of Pottawatomie County.

If you see Inmate Lewis or know of his whereabouts, do NOT approach and call 911.
