The Liberty Academy High School girls’ basketball team won the HCAA State Basketball Championship recently with a 64-35 victory over Gospel Light Christian. The Liberty Academy scoring included Britlyn Leader with 19, Sarah Armstrong with 14, Kate Jennings with 11, Lauren Semrad with eight, Mikelle Blythe with six, Lay Holmes with four and Teagan Winkler with two.
