Bell Cow: July 6. Elevation is 6 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 81°F and stained. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, plastic baits, small lures, spinnerbaits, and topwater lures around brush structure, riprap, shallows, and standing timber. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around brush structure and docks. Channel catfish good on stinkbait, sunfish, and worms around brush structure, shallows, and shorelines. Chandler: July 6. Elevation is 6 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 82°F and stained. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around brush structure, dam, docks, and rocks. Channel catfish good on stinkbait, sunfish, and worms around brush structure, dam, rocks, and shorelines. Blue catfish fair on cut bait and shad below the dam, docks, and main lake. White bass fair on Alabama rigs and in-line spinnerbaits below the dam, flats, and points. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, jerk baits, spoons, and topwater lures below the dam, channels, points, and rocks. Kaw: July 7. Elevation is 13 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 80°F and murky. White bass, blue catfish, and walleye good on grubs, jigs, minnows, and tube jigs below the dam. Paddlefish excellent snagging below the dam. Konawa: July 6. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 82°F and clear. Largemouth bass excellent on crankbaits, plastic baits, and topwater lures around main lake, points, river channel, and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass excellent on crankbaits and live shad around inlet, main lake, and river channel. Murray: July 6. Elevation is 2 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 70°F and stained. Largemouth and smallmouth bass slow on small lures, spinnerbaits, and spoons around dam and main lake. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish slow on chicken liver, crawfish, grasshoppers, stinkbait, and worms around dam, main lake, and rocks. Texoma: July 6. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 82°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass fair on live shad, sassy shad, and topwater lures around channels, main lake, and points. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, live shad, punch bait, and stinkbait around channels, docks, points, and river channel. Crappie fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, and jigs around brush structure, coves, docks, and standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week has been tough once again for striper. One day will be better than the other. It’s hard to find a pattern day to day. Hopefully in the coming weeks it’ll get better. Catfish are still good near baited holes, river channels, and cleaning docks. Crappie are okay near brush piles and docks with jigs.
