Survivors include her husband, Floyd Avery of Shawnee; five sons, Bryan Channon and wife Hannah of McAlester, Raymond Channon of McAlester, Johnny Avery and wife Callie of Tecumseh, Billy Joe Avery and wife Barbara of Ft. Gibson and Frosty Avery and wife Christie of Salina, Oklahoma; two daughters, Tabitha (Channon) Osswald of Tecumseh and Misty Lynn Holt and husband Tim of Sand Springs; three brothers, Roger Channon and wife Emily of Meeker, Shorty Channon of Coalgate and John Channon and wife Susan of McAlester; one sister, Debbie Channon of Coalgate; 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Donna P. (Channon) Avery were held Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Cemetery in Okemah. Services were held under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma.
