Patricia “Pat” Nan Cunningham, passed away at her home in Shawnee on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Pat was born on October 23, 1955 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Thomas Herald “TH” Cunningham and Antionetta (Hicks) Cunningham.

Pat was employed by Exxon Mobil Corporation in Shawnee in the Films Division, where she had faithfully served for over 22 years. Pat was well known by her friends for her service to others. She donated her time and resources especially with The Salvation Army of Shawnee, and she will be missed by the many who knew and loved her. She devoted her time, talents and resources to many charitable organizations. Her devotion extended beyond Salvation Army and the Meeker Library, reaching into many other communities.

She is preceded in death by her twin sister, Phyllis Cunningham; her brother, Lewis Cunningham; and her father, T.H. Cunningham.

She is survived by her mother, Antionetta of Noble, OK; by her family of friends of Shawnee Salvation Army; by her family of work friends from Mobil Chemical of Shawnee; and by numerous other good friends and relatives.

A memorial service will be held at the Meeker library from 11am to 2pm on Friday, September 9, 2022. Arrangements have been entrusted to McElyea & Owens Funeral Group of Shawnee. To honor her legacy loved ones have asked that In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Salvation Army or another one of her sponsored charities in her name.
