Dora Lee Sheets-Tate went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday the 7th of September, 2022 at the age of 97.

Dora was born on 7/24/25 to Robert and Cleo McCracken (Estes) in Lehigh, OK. Dora was preceded in death by husband Bob Sheets of 52 yrs, two sons: Larry Joe and Bobby Lynn Sheets & wife Linda, one daughter Jerri Ann Sheets and husband George Tate of 17 yrs. One sister Zelda Anderson and one brother Joe McCracken. Dora had several jobs but her greatest accomplishment was her family as she was “the tie that binds” our family. So much history and many memories she left us in her 97 years.

Left to cherish her memory: son Fred & Vicki Sheets of Meeker, three daughters: Donna Morris; Kim & Mark Young all of Shawnee, Faye Luke of Lodi, CA. Eleven grandchildren, 18 great and 4 great, great grandchildren and many other family members.

We want to give a special thank you to Dr. Tony Haddad who took good care of our Mom for over 20 years. Also, a special thank you to Loving Care Hospice.

Memorial to be held at Sharon Baptist Church, 19002 Gordon Cooper Dr. Nov. 5th at 2:00 with Bro. Clint Dawkins officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Loving Care In-Home Health Services or Sharon Baptist Church.
