Tecumseh resident Peggy (Jeter) Crenshaw, 68, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in Tecumseh.
She was born March 15, 1940 to Ray B. and Flora Mae (Mahurin) Jeter in Lexington, Okla. Born in Lexington, she grew up in Oklahoma City. She attended Capital Hill High School. She raised her family in Arizona and later in Visalia, Calif. where she lived for 30 years. She was a homemaker, as well as being a supervisor for Remedy Home Health Agency in Visalia. She moved to Tecumseh three and a half years ago, and has since lived there.
She had a passion for Jesus and was a member of the Pentecostal Lighthouse in Visalia for the past 30 years.
She was artistic and enjoyed gardening and home decorating.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Park W. “Pete” Boggs.
She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Jeri D. and Kenny Johnson of Elk Grove, Calif., and Dana D. Morris of Simi Valley, Calif.; one son and daughter-in-law, Douglas V. and Julie Crenshaw of Visalia; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Betty Thompson of Shawnee, Debra VanCamp of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mary and Paul Russell of Moore; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Linda Boggs of Tulare, Calif., Jerry and Carol Jeter of Summertown, Tenn., and “Bud” and Sue Jeter of Columbia, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Mallory Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Brent Wallace, Tyler Crenshaw and Evan Morris; and numerous other family members and friends.
