AP —Oklahoma City police have identified a teenage girl who was shot and killed at an Oklahoma City park as 18-year-old Shonda Hamilton.

Sgt. Gary Knight says Hamilton was in the park with a group of friends about 8 p.m. Sunday when several cars stopped and several people got out with a female pulling a gun and shooting Hamilton.

Hamilton was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Knight says the killer has not been identified and the only description of her is that she is a black female.

Hamilton is the 23rd homicide victim in Oklahoma City this year.
