A Prague woman suffered leg injuries in a collision Monday along U.S. 377 in Seminole County; a second vehicle involved in the accident reportedly left the scene.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol worked the accident about 10:33 a.m. on U.S. 377, just south of Interstate 40.
A 1993 Pontiac driven by Elnora Carter, 38, Prague, was attempting to cross U.S. 377 from the Love’s parking lot when a southbound vehicle struck the passenger side door, the OHP said. The southbound vehicle was unknown; the OHP report noted that the driver left the scene.
Carter was not injured, but her passenger, 51-year-old Shawn McCreerly, was transported by private vehicle to Prague Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition with a leg injury.
The OHP listed failure to yield as cause of the accident. Seat belts were equipped and in use in Carter’s vehicle.
