Oklahoma Baptist took its second men’s golf tournament in a row, capturing Texas Lutheran’s John Bohmann Memorial Invitational Tuesday and wrapping up the fall campaign.
OBU finished with a three-round 870 to outdistance Texas Lutheran by 12 strokes in the 13-team tournament, including three ranked teams in the NCAA Division III Top 25.
Xavier Diana led the Bison with a fourth-place effort, shooting72-71-73 for 216. Clement Batut bounced back from a first-round 78 with a 71 and 68 to finish tied with teammate Chase Lindsey (75-70-72) in fifth place at 217.
Batut’s 68 matched the low score for the final round.
Alex Hamilton was 13th overall at 224 and Arnuaud Cotton was 23rd at 229.
No Bison exceeded a 79 in any round of the tournament.

Volleyball squad takes loss at OCU

Oklahoma Baptist took a 3-1 loss at Oklahoma City in Sooner Athletic Conference volleyball match Tuesday.
OBU won the opening set 27-25, but lost the next three 25-18, 25-19, 25-16.
Shannon Hamilton led OBU with 11 kills while Tasha White added 10. Chelsea Hamer led the team with 25 assists. Defensively, Lacy Stone came up with four blocks (two solo, four assists) and Cassie Winker had 23 digs.
Now 22-12 overall and 4-6 in the SAC, the Lady Bison host Southern Nazarene Thursday in the final OBU home match of the season.
