Wewoka’s Fraternal Order of Police will hold a Haunted Warehouse from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. behind the Dollar General on West Third Street In Wewoka. Admission is $2.



The Shawnee Garden Council will meet at the Mabee Gerrer Museum.  Museum volunteers will host the meeting in appreciation of the Garden Council’s donation to landscape the museum.  Dane Pollei will be the speaker.

The first of a series of instructional meetings open to all those interested in becoming Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art docents will be at 4 p.m. at the museum on the St. Gregory’s University campus, 1900 W. MacArthur. Call 878-5300 for more information.

The Shawnee High School Drama Department will present “Voices 2000” at 7:30 p.m. in the high school’s Little Theatre. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Saturday
The November Fall Festival will be held 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Woodland Park, Highland and Broadway Streets, in Shawnee.
Free food, games for kids and prize drawings for new bicycles will be held and there will be a truckload of new household items and clothing items on hand for free giveaways. Feed the Children will bring a truckload of food to the event and there will be live music. For more information or to donate, call Melissa at the Shawnee Rescue Mission, 831-6904.

Beginning in November, the Shawnee High School Alumni Museum, 326 N. Union, will be open the first and third Saturday of every month. The hours will remain the same, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Monday
The musical duo Tom and EuLeane Cook will perform country music 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at in the Legacy Park community room, 1701 Airport Drive, Shawnee. All senior citizens are invited free of charge.

Nov. 4
The St. Benedict Catholic Church Parish Guild will meet at 1 p.m. A memorial service for departed loved ones will be held.

Part one of a two-part AARP safe driving class will begin at 1 p.m. at the Shawnee Senior Center, 10th and Bell streets. All licensed drivers are welcome, and all who complete the class will be eligible for a discount on their auto insurance. The second part of the class will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday.
