Designed to help the community recover from the devastating ice storm last December, Shawnee area residents responded to this program, ordering almost 18,000 trees. Because of this large response as well as other factors, tree growers were not able to supply some of the plants listed on the original order form. For those trees, The Tree Bank and tree broker have provided suitable substitutions.
Entry to the airport will be at the first airport gate on Airport Drive when traveling from the north.  Turn right into the area and stop at the tent to receive a list of the plants ordered and a map showing where they are located. It will speed the process of locating the list if you bring a card or small sheet of paper with your name clearly printed on it.
Find a parking spot and, using the list provided, gather trees to your vehicle.  Some volunteers will be present to provide assistance.  Most people will need to load their plants without assistance.  Most plants are in three-gallon containers, however, some are five-gallon. Many of the holly plants are one-gallon.
The exit will be at different gate.

Tree distribution will begin at 8 a.m. each day and close at 6 p.m.
