The Animal Rescue Center of Shawnee (A.R.C.) has organized a spay/neuter clinic for low income households (less the $35,000 per household) for Saturday in Shawnee.  The cost will be $35 for dogs and $25 for cats.  If the animal’s shots are not current, the clinic will provide the booster shot for $5 and the rabies vaccination for $5.  The organization performing the spay/neuters is able to provide these services at this low cost because they are subsidized by grants.  There are only 60 spaces available for this date and it will be on a first come first serve basis.  The fee will be due when the pet is dropped off.  Call A.R.C. at 405-431-9326 and leave a message with your name and contact phone number(s) or e-mail the information to admin@arcshawnee.org.
