Halloween is just a few days away.

Halloween is just a few days away.

That means on Monday, young pirates, princesses and even a few ghosts and goblins will trek out ready to fill their bags with treats.

Children in Norman, Noble, Lexington, Moore and Oklahoma City will visit neighborhoods as they trick-or-treat.

Cleveland County deputies want kids to enjoy the holiday and offer a few safety reminders:

Wear costumes made of flame-retardant material Make sure costumes are light reflective Carry a flashlight Never go into a stranger’s home Trick-or-treat with an adult Don’t eat unwrapped candy

Sheriff Joe Lester wishes everyone a safe and Happy Halloween.

“I hope all children have fun as they trick-or-treat but please keep those safety tips in mind.”
