Summer Skillern, Shawnee’s sole entrant in the Class 5A state tournament, posted a 90 Wednesday in the opening 18 holes at the Dornick Hills course.

The final 18 holes of the competition are scheduled for today, weather permitting. Rain and temperatures in the 40s have been forecast.

Shawnee’s boys will see state tournament action Monday and Tuesday at the Tulsa Country Club course.

The Wolves are coming off a runner-up regional finish Monday at Shawnee Golf and Country Club. Shawnee finished 12 strokes behind defending state champion Tulsa Bishop Kelley.

Shawnee is the defending state runner-up.
