Seminole State College has been awarded a $25,000 planning grant from the Teagle Foundation through its Cornerstone: Learning for Living initiative. The national program supports efforts to revitalize the liberal arts by integrating transformative texts and fostering shared learning experiences.
The Dollar General Literacy Foundation (DGLF) announces the award of approximately $180,000 in literacy grants to Oklahoma nonprofit organizations, libraries and schools. The funds are a part of a record-setting, one-day donation in the Foundation’s history of more than $13.2 million to support adult, family, and summer literacy programs in the 48 states in which Dollar General operates.
