LONE GROVE – It was a rough day for the Chandler Lions Friday as they suffered 17-2 and 16-0 defeats at the hands of the Lone Grove Longhorns Friday in a Class 3A area playoff. Chandler, which ended its season at 20-11, managed just five hits the entire day as Lone Grove advanced to state.
CASHION – The Meeker Bulldogs saw their season come to an end at a Class 2A-1 regional after being no-hit by Cashion hurler Kyle Yowell on Friday.
