More than 900 middle school and high school students gathered at Oklahoma Baptist University on March 1, 2025, for the annual Generation Why youth apologetics conference. The event, hosted by OBU’s Hobbs School of Theology and Ministry, equipped students with practical tools to understand, articulate and defend their faith in an increasingly post-Christian culture.

IHS awards $9.5M to 19 tribes to combat opioid epidemic; CPN awarded $500K

The Indian Health Service has awarded $9.5 million in Community Opioid Intervention Prevention Program (COIPP) grant funding to 19 tribes, tribal organizations, and urban Indian organizations to combat the opioid epidemic in Indian Country. Among those on the list is the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, which will receive $500,000, according to the list of nationwide recipients.
