Friday, March 7, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the April 1, 2025 County Special Tax Question, Municipal General Election for Town of Pink, City of Maud, Town of Asher, and City of Mcloud , & also Board of Education General Election for Gordon Cooper, Earlsboro, Maud, Shawnee, Mcloud, and Grove , Pottawatomie County Election Board Secretary Patricia Carter said. Carter said that persons who are United States Citizens, residents of Oklahoma, and at least 17 ½ years old are eligible to apply for voter registration.

WEATHERFORD – The Oklahoma Baptist University Bison pounded out 20 hits, nine of which went for extra bases, in slamming Southwestern Oklahoma State 19-7 in seven innings Friday to open a three-game Great American Conference baseball series.
