Mississippi College President's List announced for Fall 2024
Oklahoma Baptist’s women were edged in a few critical categories Thursday night in Great American Conference play at the Noble Complex.
Ouachita Baptist created 16 steals off 21 Oklahoma Baptist turnovers and outscored the Bison by 18 in the second half in claiming a 71-59 victory Thursday night at the Noble Complex. Oklahoma Baptist, which fell to 10-5 overall and 7-2 in the Great American Conference heading into a Saturday home contest against Henderson State, shot just 33% from the field for the night and only 22.7% (5-of-22) from 3-point territory.
With another round of below-freezing temperatures arriving in Oklahoma this weekend, the American Red Cross is urging people to heat their homes safely and prepare their families in case they experience a fire. In the first two weeks of 2025, the Red Cross responded to more than 80 home fires in Oklahoma.
