Jingle, Jingle Shawnee! We hope you had a great time at the Christmas Parade downtown last Friday! The lights and floats were amazing, and my favorite was the Grinch hanging upside down and doing flips from the back of a tow truck crane! Quite the fireworks show as well! Thank you to Safe Events for Families (SEFF) for organizing this year’s parade. The Shawnee Parks and Recreation Department hosted a special live music event on Thursday at Woodland Park Amphitheater, and we appreciate you coming out! A big thank you goes to Mitch Wolf for providing sound plus performing the final act, to Jason Henson and the ensemble from Immanual Baptist Church to Martin and Megan Kramm, the brother-sister duo of Willowcreek, as well as to the talented Miranda Mulkey.
