Recently, Shawnee’s monthly Third Thursday Poetry Reading welcomed OBU’s Ben Myers, author of four books of poetry, the latest being, The Book of Family Martyrs (2023). Myers was Oklahoma’s Poet Laureate in 2015-2016.
