SHAWNEE – The Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art is honored to present its latest special exhibition, “Good Vibrations: The Prints of Victor Vasarely,” running through October 19. The exhibition showcases Vasarely’s innovative Optical Art and use of light, shadow, shapes, color and perspective to create mesmerizing optical illusions.
Hospital secures PUD revision to add solar panels
In a memo on the August agenda, Petya Stefanoff, interim Community Development director, explained to Shawnee City Commissioners that Unity Medical Plaza -- currently zoned under a Planned Unit Development (PUD) with a base zoning of C-2 (Regional Commercial) – is requesting a revision. The public hearing brought forth one comment from a resident.
