Micro-surfacing project cause of confusion for some residents

The Brandywine harvest

The Pink Brandywine Heirloom tomato plants swung into full production during the cooler weather hiatus. The plants with large leaves and thick stems are almost too heavy for the fence cage and little flimsy green trellis erected earlier this spring. One major tomato plant (with fruits that continue to get larger every day) was tilting precariously to the west. Heavy-duty support was needed.
