TECUMSEH - A ribbon cutting ceremony will be April 25 at noon to celebrate an extension to the Tecumseh community’s Music Trail. The event was rescheduled after being rained out on April 4.

(SHAWNEE, Okla.) – This Friday, April 25, the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art will host its annual “Off the Wall” fundraising event starting at 6 p.m. The interactive event offers attendees the unique opportunity to take home original artwork created and donated by talented local artists.

Oklahoma Baptist University has received approval from the Institutional Actions Council (IAC) of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) to offer its first doctoral program: the Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD). The approval, effective April 1, 2025, marks a historic step forward as the university expands its academic offerings in the health sciences.

Certified Healthy Oklahoma – a collaborative effort of OSDH, The Oklahoma Academy, Oklahoma Turning Point Council and the State Chamber of Oklahoma – offers certifications in six categories: Business, Campus, Community, Congregation, Early Childhood Program and School.
