The following are Jones Theatre listings for the week beginning January 24.

Fourteen students representing a variety of sports and activities will contend for the titles of Spring 2025 Homecoming King and Queen at Shawnee High School. The event will take place on Thursday, January 31, at 6 p.m.

SHAWNEE -- As part of the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art’s exhibit, Called by God: The Art of Religious Life, Delaynna Trim, MGMoA Curator of Collections, will be giving a Gallery Talk on Friday, January 24 at 7pm. The gallery talk and reception is free and all are welcome.

OKLAHOMA CITY - With the Arctic blast that is expected to sweep across OG&E’s service area while bringing sub-freezing temperatures, OG&E is offering customers tips to stay safe and warm. “Each year, OG&E prepares our power plants for winter by the end of October to ensure continued operation throughout winter and protect our customers from extreme cold and winter weather,” said OG&E Manager of Corporate Communications Aaron Cooper.

Registration is underway for Oklahoma Baptist University’s annual youth apologetics conference, Generation Why. Students, youth groups, college ministry groups and others around the state and region are invited to attend the conference on March 1, 2025.
