SHAWNEE - Dane Pollei, Director and Chief Curator at the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art (MGMoA), has been honored with the President’s Award at the Oklahoma Museum Association (OMA) conference held at the Museum of the Red River in Idabel, Oklahoma. The President’s Award recognizes an individual who has made exceptional contributions to OMA, going above and beyond in their service to the organization.

The Friends of the Library and volunteers from the community are preparing for the library book sale this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Shawnee Public Library. Students from OBU’s service fraternity Lambda Chi Lambda and North Rock Creek’s National Honor Society have been helping sort and organize books for the sale.
