OKLAHOMA CITY — Following the release of “Twisters,” the highly anticipated standalone sequel to the 1996 blockbuster, on July 19, the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department (OTRD) is highlighting some of the key filming locations in Oklahoma. Tecumseh plans for Frontier Days celebration on Sept. 28
Can you feel the excitement building? Tecumseh's 2024 Frontier Days is just two months away, and anticipation is already in the air. Recently, registration was opened for vendors, and within the first two weeks, more than 25 food trucks applied. This year's theme, "Who We Are," celebrates the people and businesses that make Tecumseh unique, with Frontier Days a chanced to show off the vibrant community."We have a few exciting changes this year. To help beat the heat, the main day celebration on the 28th will now be from 9 a.m.to 3 p.m. instead of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shade stations will be available for everyone to sit, cool off, and enjoy the festivities. The car show will move to the grassy area across from the First Assembly of God, bringing it closer to the action. Additionally, a stage with live music will be playing throughout the day," the chamber reports.Investment opportunities are available for community supporters.
