Seminole State College SSC hosted a College Transfer Fair on Oct. 5. Students were able to speak with representatives from the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, Cameron University, Oklahoma Christian, University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, East Central University, Grand Canyon University, Oklahoma City University and the U.S. Army.
The Seminole State College President’s Leadership Class toured the Oklahoma State Capitol on Sept. 29. During the group’s visit, they had the opportunity to meet Rep. Kevin Wallace (R-District 32), Oklahoma Administrative Director of the Courts and former Lieutenant Gov. Jari Askins and Sen. Zack Taylor (R-District 28).

The Seminole State College Educational Foundation hosted its 26th Annual Golf Tournament at the FireLake Golf Course in Shawnee on Oct. 3.
The McLoud Alumni Association held the 46th annual All-School Reunion in July, 2022 after taking a two-year break due to COVID, with many in attendance. A new location was used and everyone enjoyed seeing the new Intermediate School and Cafeteria, at 866 S.
