Registration open for Fall art classes at Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art
SHAWNEE – The Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art is offering new After School Art and adult workshops this fall. After School Art Classes for ages 5-12 begin in September. The first program, Drawing with Nature with instructor Bridget Moore, begins Tuesday, September 6 from 4-5 p.m. with ages 5-8 and 5:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. for ages 9-12. Students will learn various drawing techniques and work with a variety of drawing tools as they roam the courtyard referencing natural forms. The second program, Happy Fallidays! with instructor Lynn Pollei, begins Thursday, September 8 from 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. for ages 5-8, and 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. for ages 9-12. Students will create fall themed projects with fall leaves, pumpkins, mummies, and more!
