Following another successful contest year, the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden and Pepsi are announcing the winners of this year’s Pepsi Vending Machine Art Contest. Among the winners are two students from Shawnee and students from nearby Harrah and Luther.

Friends of the Shawnee Public Library receive good deed donation The Friends of the Shawnee Public Library received a $100 donation recently from the Fidelity Charitable Trust on behalf of the “Turn To The Wonderful” fund, organized by Rabbi Glickman and his wife who have been traveling the country, doing good in small doses to lots of different communities to spur more good deeds.
