McLoud seniors receive McLoud School Foundation Scholarships

The McLoud School Foundation presented three $1,000 scholarships at the McLoud High School Academic Awards Program held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. The following students were presented scholarships by the MSF President Austin Carroll: Novalee Faith Bishop, Taylor Lynn Kennedy and Mackynsie Marie McKedy. Each scholarship check will be awarded in the spring of 2023 after the student has successfully completed the fall semester at an accredited school of higher learning adn upon presentation of their fall transcript, with the check being paid directly to the school.

Dr. Andy Taylor to speak at Bison Connections event

Dr. Andy Taylor, regional ministry partner for east-central Oklahoma for Oklahoma Baptists, will deliver the keynote speech during Oklahoma Baptist University’s next Bison Connections event June 9 in Bixby. The event will take place at 6 p.m. at Evergreen Baptist Church, located at 10301 East 111th St. S. in Bixby, Oklahoma. Registration is now open online. The event is free and dinner is included.

MASTER OF MANNERS FOR BETHEL LOWER ELEMENTARY ANNOUNCED

Wewoka High School students win awards at Holdenville Society and Painters Spring Art Show

The Holdenville Society of Painters and Sculptors are currently hosting their annual Spring Art Show in downtown Holdenville. The Art Center has a wide range of categories of work ranging from children through adult art pieces which include Students (all grade levels), Amateur, Advanced and Master Artist Divisions.
