The State Regents’ Council for Online Learning Excellence (COLE) recognized a Seminole State College administrator for her outstanding work in online education during the State Regents meeting on April 28. SSC Interim Executive Director of Business Service Melanie Rinehart was honored with the Oklahoma Online Excellence Award for Individual Leadership.

The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is proud to announce that its female chimpanzee, Nia, is going to be a mom. Nia, 14, one of the OKC Zoo’s adult female chimpanzees, is expecting a baby later this fall.

Seminole State College freshman Hailey Wallace, of Wellston, recently attended the Nigh Institute Leadership Academy held in Oklahoma City. Wallace joined college students from across the state for the threeday academy.

STILLWATER, Oklahoma – Multiple Pottawatomie County students recently were honored by the Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture with academic scholarships for the 2022-2023 academic year. The scholarships are part of the more than $1.8 million that students will receive from the college and its academic departments.
