Members of the Seminole State College Belles basketball team stuffed 5,500 eggs in an hour and a half Tuesday in preparation for the Jasmine Moran Children’s Museum’s free community egg hunt. “Jazzy’s Egg Run” will begin Saturday morning at 11 a.m. on the Museum’s grounds.

Students, faculty and staff at Oklahoma Baptist University worshiped together during a special Holy Week chapel service April 13. The annual Holy Week chapel takes place the Wednesday before Easter. The service was held inside Raley Chapel’s Potter Auditorium on the OBU campus in Shawnee.
The Shawnee High School Band has received the OSSAA Sweepstakes Award, which is the highest honor a band can receive. It is awarded to a band for earning a Superior rating on stage and sight reading during concert season and a Superior rating during marching season.
