OSU partners with OSDE to elevate physical education in schools

Oklahoma State University is supporting Oklahoma Pre-K through 12th grade schools in enhancing physical education through a partnership with the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Schools selected for the initiative may receive up to $10,000 in reimbursement for exercise equipment, along with mentoring, professional development, and participation in a virtual community of practice led by OSU’s Human Performance and Nutrition Research Institute and OSU Center for Health Sciences Project ECHO.

Minister's Corner: The mystery of Godliness

“Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.” 1 Timothy 3:16 In light of the commemoration of Jesus’ Ascension into heaven forty days after His resurrection, consider this early hymn Paul includes in his letter to Pastor Timothy at Ephesus that sings about the life, ministry, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus. Paul calls the content of this Apostolic Christian hymn, “The Mystery of Godliness,” and that title is a good place to start.
