Groundbreaking held for new Ronald McDonald house to serve more families statewide

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Ronald McDonald House Charities® Oklahoma City (RMHC®-OKC) marked a major milestone on April 3 with the groundbreaking of a new House in northwest Oklahoma City. The event also kicked off the public phase of the nonprofit's Opening Doors, Finding Hope Capital Campaign, an effort to raise $2 million by the end of 2025 to complete the project.

OKLAHOMA CITY – April is Alcohol Awareness Month, a time for Oklahomans to reflect on the significant impact alcohol misuse has on individuals, families, and communities. The National Survey on Drug Use and Health indicates that about 1 in 5 Oklahomans aged 12 and older participated in binge alcohol use in the past month and 1 in 10 are estimated to have had an alcohol use disorder within the past year.
