COEDD Area Agency on Aging (AAA), in partnership with the Oklahoma Insurance Department Medicare Assistance Program, is again offering free Medicare Part D Plan Comparison and Enrollment assistance throughout the Fall Open Enrollment Period —October 15 through December 7. We’re here to help you take the guesswork out of your prescription drug coverage for 2025.

Gardening: Just how good were the good old days?

Few things are more satisfying than to open my pantry door and see the jars of colorful produce lined up like a regiment of soldiers across the shelves; or to know that on blistering hot or cold snowy days, rather than going to the grocery store I can just check out the pantry or open one of my upright freezers, peruse the various shelves and bins to come up with a nourishing meal--with many of the ingredients grown, harvested and prepared for storage—right here at my Two Acre Paradise/Three Dog Circus. Other fixings may have been garnered from the overabundance of gardens, orchards or groves of friends and family.
