Hey there, Shawnee! If you happen to have kids or grandkids in school, we hope their school year has gotten off to a great start! The beginning of school means fall is right around the corner, although it still feels like summer outside.

English friend Sally sent pictures of having a great time at The Green Man Festival (August 15-18) in the Brecan Beacons, Wales. In the Welsh language it is called Bannau Brychieiniog (Ban-eye Bruh-khayn- yog). Welsh is a complex language, but quite rhymical. I love hearing the Welsh converse, although I haven’t a clue what they’re saying even though I have Welsh ancestors. Obviously, language skills are not passed down through the DNA.
