SSC staff receives national training

Members of the Seminole State College enrollment management team attended the national “Element451: Engage Summit” in Raleigh, North Carolina this week. The group received training on the specialized Customer Relations Module (CRM) software, which SSC uses for their recruitment, marketing and communication efforts.

Shawnee City Commission approves CIP 2025-29

This month Shawnee City Commissioners approved a Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) proposal for Fiscal Years 2025-29 after a public hearing in May. Basically, it's the city's big-ticket to-do list; In general, capital improvements tend to be large items, often geared at enhancement, expansion, maintenance or replacement of city assets -- like buildings, streets, infrastructure or pricey equipment -- stuff the city can't work into its annual budget of operation.
