MCLOUD - McLoud Historical Society Museum and Heritage Center has been securing its future through adding to its endowment deposited with Communities Foundation of Oklahoma. This funding venture was launched by Society President Dean Hill for the purpose of building a financial foundation for the future of the museum. A goal of $40,000 was set during this MHS endowment campaign. Hill expressed deep appreciation to contributors who have helped make this campaign successful. Only a few more inches on the thermometer remain for the June 30 deposit goal to be reached.

Polls will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18 for city, county and state elections.

Recently a hearing was set so residents could share input on the latest CIP (Capital Improvement Plan) proposal – this one focused on 2025-29.

STROUD - Ed Dyer, Hospital Administrator for Rural Wellness Stroud Hospital announced an Open House was being planned for Friday, June 14, 2024, starting at 1:30 p.m. in celebration of the new surgery center and completion of facility renovations.
