Voters in eight central Oklahoma counties, including 63 voters casting ballots in Pottawatomie County, overwhelming rejected a proposed millage increase on their property taxes Tuesday that would have funded a proposition for Mid-America Technology Center (MATC). The proposal, which asked for a 3 mill increase for its building fund, failed with 75.15 percent voting against it.
