Pottawatomie County school districts — and the Family Justice Center — are continuing to gather additional funds to support education, thanks to an area tribe, the Citizen Potawatomi Nation (CPN).

Vortex Alley Brewing in Shawnee will host a Rags to Runway fundraising event on July 26 that will provide fun while also supporting local non-profits, including the CPN House of Hope. The event is for those 21 and older and participants must first register at Vortex Alley, located at 313 E.

Eastbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane just east of SH-102 in McLoud from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday for guardrail repairs. Drivers should use extra caution in the area.
