First opening its doors in July, the city’s Homeless Resource Center (HRC) has just secured another day of availability and operating hours. “We are so excited to announce that we have been able to add Thursday hours at the Homeless Resource Center (HRC),” Homeless Program Coordinator Erika Genty said in a Facebook post this week.
“Walk Where Jesus Walked” is a tour of Israel hosted by Cliff and Judi Craig of Shawnee. The tour is scheduled for May 29June 8, 2023. Sites to be seen have been selected by Cliff and will feature the major tour stops as well as Biblical sites of the Old and New Testaments. A professional guide will lead viewing Caesarea Philippi, Megiddo, Nazareth, Bethsaida, Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, the “Jesus boat,” and more.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Grant Green, R-Wellston, was officially sworn into office Wednesday during a ceremony at the Capitol presided over by Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell. Oklahoma Supreme Court Chief Justice Richard Darby administered his Oath of Office. Green was joined by his wife, Dana, two daughters, Taylor Green and Baylea Green Bryant, two sons, Evan and Hayden Green, and daughter-in-law, Chelsea Green, on the Senate floor. The remaining Green family, friends, and supporters watched the ceremony from the Senate Gallery.

The last five years showed a rampant increase in internet fraud and data breaches, especially during the coronavirus pandemic. Americans filed a record number of complaints with the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) in 2021 — nearly 850,000.
